Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - Japanese Type:Contract Compensation:$38/hour Location:Remote Role Responsibilities Evaluate AI training data in Japanese for accuracy and consistency. Review multilingual transcription audits by listening to recordings and verifying transcriptions. Conduct forced alignment audits by checking and correcting audio segments and timestamps. Apply error codes and provide clear rationales for each judgment. Work independently with a focus on careful listening and precise error identification. Complete a calibration phase before starting production work. Qualifications Must-Have Native or near-native command of Japanese as spoken in Japan. Strong English reading and writing skills. Experience in transcription, subtitling, localization, or linguistic annotation. Ability to apply a disciplined rubric consistently. Preferred Prior AI data annotation or model evaluation experience. Background in phonetics or linguistics. Experience with audio editing or waveform tools.
